Marcus S. Zarra is the author of the incredibly popular "Core Data" book published by The Pragmatic Programmers and co-author of the successful "Core Animation" book published by Addison-Wesley. Marcus has spoken at numerous conferences around the globe as well as taught Objective-C at some of the top colleges in the United States.
Kyle Richter is a long time Mac developer having released his first commercial Mac app for OS X 10.1. Kyle is the author of "Beginning iOS Game Center and Game Kit" and "Beginning Social Games" published by Apress and "iOS Components and Frameworks: Understanding the Advanced Features of the iOS SDK" published by Pearson Education. Kyle is also a frequent speaker at technology conferences spanning the globe; speaking on topics such as development, business and entrepreneurship.
Bruce brings 28 years of business leadership and management experience as a trusted advisor and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Empirical Development. He is based out of Denver Colorado.
Den Richards is the designer and author of scores of application systems used by companies worldwide, including several published and marketed under IBM's banner. He has been a guest speaker at industry conferences worldwide and a member of IBM's Industry Advisory Council. As a successful businessman, entrepreneur and consultant, Den has spent years successfully shepherding complex software systems from their inception to the marketplace.
Kevin Wenning has run and sold his own personal business as well as led project teams for well over twenty years. Some of those disciplines include director of art and photography, sales and client management, inventory and order fulfillment systems, and development of new products and markets. Kevin most enjoys the process of solving the challenges that make a delivered product look effortless and elegant.

Nathan is an experienced game and application developer, speaker, and instructor. For over a decade, he has built software and trained development teams for organizations across a number of industries including video games, Internet hosting, mass media, banking, automotive, energy, defense, and space exploration. His most recent clients include NASA, Thomson Reuters, CAR-Research XRM, and the U.S. Army. He is currently focused on building games for the iOS and Android platforms. He is also frequently invited to present technical seminars at iOS and Mac developer conferences around the globe.
Trevor Squires is a seasoned and often outspoken developer from Vancouver Island, Canada. He has been a bicycle mechanic, a tech-support drone and a product trainer. These days he's at Empirical Development, where he divides his time between being the resident "crotchety old guy" and coding up complex, data-driven iOS applications. Trevor excels at crafting fast and reliable networking and database code.
Joe Keeley is the co-author of "iOS Components and Frameworks" published by Pearson Education. Joe has a wealth of software development and implementation experience, having worked with clients such as Apple, Ahold USA (Stop & Shop and Giant stores), AMD, Intelligent Electronics, and International Multifoods. Joe has received praise for the presentations he has given at several technology conferences. Joe excels at building eye-popping animations and user interfaces.
